Film show: The life of Auschwitz survivor and abortion pioneer, Simone Veil

Film critic Lisa Nesselson speaks to Eve Jackson about the latest film news, including “November” which delves into the traumatic aftermath of the 2015 Paris attacks, and “Simone: A Woman of the Century” about the extraordinary French woman Simone Veil, who played a leading role in legalising contraception and abortion in France. She was also the European parliament’s first female president.

We also talk about French actress Léa Seydoux’s new film about love and loss called “One Fine Morning” by French writer-director Mia Hansen-Løve, as well as the tributes to “Murder, She Wrote” star Dame Angela Lansbury who has died at the age of 96.
