Apple TV+ Gets Its First Price Hike

Apple TV+

Apple has announced that it is raising the price of its services. It’s expected these price changes will go into effect during the next billing cycle.

Apple TV+ will jump from $5/month to $7/month, Apple Music goes from $10/month to $11/month, and the Apple One bundle (including Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and more) goes from $14.95/month to $16.95/month.

This marks the first price hike for Apple TV+ since its 2019 launch, with a spokesperson telling CNET the cost is going up as the service’s catalog has grown and carries additional costs. Similarly Apple Music is “getting more expensive due to increased licensing and fees for artists”.

The service has a number of high-profile shows and films on the way, including “Ted Lasso” Season 3, Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” and “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan’s next show.
